Facial Implant Surgery

Facial implants are often used to enhance your natural features and to better define cheekbones, jawlines and chin, hence, a more distinct look. The implant is chosen based on your facial features and expectations.

The surgery may be performed alone or in conjunction with other rejuvenating procedures ie. Facelift, browlift, rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty.

Cheek Implant:

The chosen implant may be placed through an eyelid or intra-oral incision directly over the cheekbone.

Chin Implant:

A small incision is used either under the chin or intra-orally to create a pocket and an implant is placed over the chin.

Jawline Implant:

Intra-oral incision is used to create a pocket at the jaw angle or body and implant placed.

Tape is applied over the operative area to minimize swelling. Most swelling, bruising and discomfort may subside within first two weeks. Most patients are able to return to work within a week and resume strenuous physical activities after 4 weeks.
